- Bio: Dorothy Rensvold, age 81, was born Dec. 18, 1932, near Crosby, N.D., to Mabel and Joseph Nygaard. She grew up on the family farm with her one brother and four sisters. While working in Wolf Point, she met and later married LeRoy Rensvold in 1952. Together they farmed and ranched north of Wolf Point. They had four children.
Dorothy was an accomplished seamstress and baker. She enjoyed all types of crafts and was active in her church and many clubs and organizations. She loved getting together with friends and family. She and her husband traveled frequently in the Western United States and lived in Nevada for several winters. They were married for 60 years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband in 2012.
- She is survived by son Bill (Louise) of Wolf Point, their children Liz and Jarred; daughter Jeanne Dowling (Don), of Spokane, Wash., their children, Brad and Katie; son John (Ronda), their children Joey and Emma, all of Minot, N.D.; daughter Josie Kiser (Mike) of Shalimar, Fla., their children Vicki and Nicole; sisters Esther Erickson of Crosby, N.D., Sylvia Fatland of Fargo, N.D., and Marilyn Binde of Crosby.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, April 7, at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Wolf
