- Bio: Tandrup Knutson, 56, was found dead at his home at 203 East Eighth Street North Wednesday morning about 9 o'clock. His body was discovered by Joe Jensen a neighbor who immediately notified the authorities. Knutson had been in poor health for a number of years and lived in the family home alone maintaining it for the brothers who visited here frequently. He had gone home Wednesday evening about 6:30 in a taxi and that was the last he was seen alive. He had apparently locked himself out of the house and had gone around to a basement window in an effort to get in the house. He was unable to gain admittance however and the Deputy coroner Dr. Robert C. Eaton of Clarion pronounced it “death by exposure.” Knutson is survived by four brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral services were not definite as yet Wednesday but information concerning the funeral can be had by calling the Kastler Funeral home.
