- Lois Anne Graham, daughter of James and Clara (Bucholz) Graham, was born December 1, 1922 in Canton, MN. As a child she moved to New London, WI. Lois graduated from New London High School in 1940. She then worked as a telephone operator.
- Lois was united in marriage with Marvin Buckneberg on January 1, 1949 in Sparta, WI. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls, SD and started their family. After raising her children, Lois worked as a cook at the Main Café. She later cooked for the food service at Sioux Falls College before retiring in 1988.
- Lois was a member of East Side Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Norse Glee Club Auxiliary, Sons of Norway and the Viking Leikaring.
- Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Marvin; her children, Jim Buckneberg and his wife, Linda, Renner, SD, Les Buckneberg, Sioux Falls, SD, Kathy Thoreson, Sioux Falls, SD, Nancy Larson and her husband, LeRoy, Murdock, MN; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
