- Bio: Dennis Lloyd Fahlstrom, age 62, of Williston, North Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center in Williston, North Dakota.
- A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at the First Lutheran Church in Beach, North Dakota, with Reverend Paul Peterson officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Beach Lutheran Cemetery.
- Dennis was born on March 5, 1945, in Glendive, Montana, the son of Edwin Kenneth Fahlstrom and Emma Jean Peterson Fahlstrom. Denniss mother died in 1950, and he was adopted by his step-mother Beverly Knutsen Fahlstrom. Dennis was educated in the Beach school system and graduated with the class of 1963. He received a degree from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota. He served several military tours in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Canberra from 1964 to 1968. Dennis married Marcy Ketterling in January of 1971, and two children, Todd and Chelsa, were born to this union. The couple later divorced.
- Dennis worked as a gourmet chef in several exclusive restaurants across the United States. Most recently, he worked as a chef at the Trappers Kettle in Williston, North Dakota. He enjoyed gourmet cooking and wood carving. He had interests in tropical fish and gardening.
- Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Emma.
