- Bio: Thomas Michael Christopherson, 60, of Austin, Minnesota, died at his home on Monday, October 28, 2019.
- Tom was born in Austin, Minnesota on May 18, 1959 to William and Mary (Stark) Christopherson. He attended Austin Catholic Schools graduating from Pacelli High School in 1977. He briefly attended St. John’s University before transferring to Austin Community College and earning degrees as a Construction Electrician and Digital Electronics. Tom worked as an electrician for over 25 years in the Austin area and was known for his hard work and his wizard like ability to solve any issue involving electricity and wiring. On September 7, 1985 he married Cathy Calderon at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Albert Lea, Minnesota. They later divorced. An avid outdoorsman, Tom loved to spend his spare time hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered for being able to make any one laugh with his goofy sense of humor.
- He was preceded in death by his father, William; brother, John Henry and nephew, Michael Steven.
- Tom is survived by his children: Eric Kline (Liz Gunter), Austin; Brice Christopherson, Austin; Jessica Christopherson (Jeremy Dahlen), Austin; Anthony Christopherson, Alpharetta, Georgia, and Chase Christopherson, Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren: Raistlyn, Elijah, and Harrison Kline; mother: Mary Christopherson, Austin; siblings: Patrick (Patsy) Christopherson, Austin; Mark (Aleta) Christopherson, Austin; Teresa (Randy) Judd, Faribault, Minnesota; Jane (Gary) Weiers, Faribault, Minnesota; Katherine (Eeron) Bergstrom, Austin; Joseph (Elizabeth) Christopherson, Nashville, Tennessee; Anne Christopherson (Amy Thuesen), Austin; Daniel (Mary-Ann) Christopherson, Lakeville, Minnesota; Peter (Diane) Christopherson, Austin; Matthew (Kyron) Christopherson, Elk River, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
- A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November, 11th at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father James Steffes officiating. Visitation will be at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday one hour before the service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
